ABOUT THE POSITION

Kura Omsorg is looking for two personal assistants for our client in Västerås! The positions are hourly temporary assignments, where you work as needed, for example, when regular staff is absent.

Working hours include:

• 07:00 - 15:00 (weekdays)
• 15:00 - 21:00 (weekdays)
• 07:00 - 19:00 (weekends)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 40s living in Västerås. She has an active daily life and values fast-paced days as well as calmer moments. She enjoys organizing various activities and appreciates being outdoors in nature, which her assistants join her on. She is also animal-loving, and there is a cat in the home. The client has a high spinal cord injury and requires double assistance around the clock. The duties involve helping her with all care needs, including daily hygiene routines, dressing and undressing, and meal assistance. There are lifting aids in the home to facilitate transfers.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and sensitive to the client's needs. Since the role of a personal assistant requires you to be proactive, you need to be self-assured and able to take initiative. We view previous experience in the profession positively, but it is not a requirement to apply. The client prefers female applicants, and personal suitability will be highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

• Care experience
• Non-smoker
• Category B driver's license, as the client has her own car which the assistants drive
• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals

Employment level: Hourly temporary assignment

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the role may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate from the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
