Ängslyckan Care and Nursing Home is a single-story ground-level building with only three units, providing a familial and home-like atmosphere. The facility is designed for individuals with dementia or those requiring significant care support.

Ängslyckan is beautifully and peacefully located in Hedesunda, approximately four miles south of Gävle. In Hedesunda, you will find a pizzeria, lunch restaurant, dentist, pharmacy, and grocery store. Podiatry services are available in the building, and the facility also has access to a hairdresser.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to contribute to creating safe, person-centered, and high-quality care for the elderly? We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse who wants to become part of our team and contribute to providing the best possible care and support to our residents.

As a nurse with us, you work independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions. Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing medical assessments and planning, implementing, and following up on care interventions.
• Being responsible for sample collection, infusions, wound dressings, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborating with doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure good and safe care.
• Mentoring and delegating care tasks to care staff and students.
• Documenting and working in operational systems such as Treserva, TES, Lifecare, NPÖ, and Pascal.

The position is primarily during daytime hours, but evening and weekend shifts are included according to the schedule. Ongoing interviews may take place during the application period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B) and driving experience.
• Has good ability to make independent medical assessments.

Experience with the systems Treserva, TES, Lifecare, NPÖ, and Pascal is considered an asset.
