We are looking for fantastic colleagues who want to work in teams with our dedicated employees within care and social services, as well as disability support. We are looking for you who want to work right now, but especially during the summer.
About the position
Casual positions within care and social services as well as disability support. The work is scheduled during days, evenings, weekends, and nights. The operations we are recruiting for are:
Care and Social Services
- Specialized housing
- Home care services
- Day activities
- Short-term care and respite care
Disability Support
- Housing with Specialized Service (BMSS)
- Short-term stays, short-term supervision, and housing with specialized service for children and young people
- Social psychiatry
- Personal assistance
- Daily activities
Main responsibilities
All the people we support are unique. Therefore, we work according to individual implementation plans that describe what support each service user or care recipient needs. The work is structured and may vary between different operations.
Examples of tasks that occur in all operations:
- Perform nursing care measures such as personal hygiene (e.g., showering, toilet visits, meals, etc.) based on individual needs.
- Perform household and service tasks (e.g., cleaning, cooking, and laundry) and support indoor and outdoor activities.
- Work in digital systems (Lifecare, MCSS, Medvind, and others).
- Perform health and medical care measures based on delegation.
Qualifications
It is important that you are a confident person with the ability to meet service users and care recipients in a professional manner by being attentive and accommodating in your interactions. Furthermore, you have a positive view of humanity with great respect for every individual's need for support.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Competency Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as you need to be able to communicate with service users, care recipients, relatives, and colleagues.
- Ability to write and read documentation and delegation orders.
Merits
- High school education: Care and Social Services program, Child and Leisure program with a focus on pedagogy or social work.
- Ongoing studies in behavioral sciences and/or nursing professions.
- Previous experience working in either care and social services and/or disability support.
- Experience working with individuals exhibiting challenging and aggressive behavior.
- Category B driver's license (preferably access to a personal car).
- Fluent sign language skills.
- Cycling proficiency.
Scope and Start Date
Employment type: Casual employment and/or summer temporary positions based on the needs of the operations.
Start date: By agreement.
Working Hours
Day, evening, weekend, awake night, or on-call night.
Additional Information
Before you are offered a position within the Social Services Administration, you must present a certificate of no criminal record (extract from the criminal record).
