Assignment Description

We are looking for a Backend Developer to work with backend services and compliance tooling in an environment with high demands on security, traceability, and reliability.

What You Will Work On

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement scalable and modular backend architectures
• Build solutions for compliance tooling, policy enforcement, and reporting
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for auditing and analytics
• Work with cloud-native systems and Kubernetes/GKE environments
• Design and integrate APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC
• Collaborate with platform, security, and audit teams
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
• Ensure regulatory compliance and automated technical controls
• Contribute to modernization of legacy compliance platforms

What You Bring

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with distributed and high-volume systems in Kubernetes/GKE environments
• Experience with API design and integrations using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC
• Strong understanding of system design, data modeling, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience working with GCP services including GKE, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monorepos, and build systems such as Bazel, Maven, or Gradle
• Experience with GitHub APIs or similar platform integrations
• Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
