Who are we looking for?
We are now looking for a solution-oriented and meticulous conference and catering host who will coordinate orders and deliveries where a spirit of service and teamwork are at the center. In this role, you will have a central function and be our face to customers, clients, guests, and external partners; therefore, it is especially important that you have a very high level of service.

The position is a combined conference and café assistant role. Responsibilities include answering conference and catering inquiries, coordinating food delivery from the kitchen, attending events and orders, and stepping in wherever needed regardless of the task. You will also staff our café, where we expect a very high level of service towards both guests and colleagues. Barista training/experience is meritorious, and you must have a genuine passion for service and sales.

About Food & Co Alfa Laval

Food & Co at Alfa Laval in Lund is a corporate restaurant serving approximately 700 lunch portions per day. In addition to lunch, we offer catering, conferences, and café services Monday–Friday during daytime hours. We are a tightly knit team of 10 people where service, joy of work, high quality, and a genuine interest in food permeate the entire operation.

Who are you?

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have a high school education
• You have at least three years of prior experience in conference or café work
• You enjoy planning and structuring your work to ensure efficiency
• We produce everything from scratch, so experience in cold kitchens/bakeries is a big plus
• With your positivity, you take responsibility for maintaining a high service level throughout the day
• You understand the importance of professional and flexible customer interaction
• You have very good administrative skills and are adept at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously
• You are meticulous, collaborative, and capable of working independently
• You can take initiative and enjoy fast-paced days
• You speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Experience with invoicing is a plus
