Recruiting Unit

The Air Base Security Company F 21 consists of two air base security platoons, an air defense platoon, and a guard platoon that fulfills the IBSS (Operational Ready Security Force) task. The company's main tasks are to train and war-assign conscripts, as well as maintain and develop the capability to defend against low-altitude air and ground threats.

Job Description

The platoon's main task is to fulfill the IBSS (Operational Ready Security Force) mission. The force provides the wing's sharp security protection over time.

Main Duties

Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

• Commanding the operational ready command force.
• Leading operational guarding of F 21.
• Patrolling, guarding, access control, visitor reception, and staffing the alarm center.
• Intervening against and reporting security-threatening activities according to the operational plan.
• Physical training.
• Maintaining knowledge and skills, such as weapons handling and the Protection Act.
• Training both conscripts and employed personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications

• OR4–SO7
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Approved military security guard training
• Field test under 13:30 and multitest at least 175 points.

Personal Qualities

Your personal qualities are characterized by great attention to detail and a good ability to collaborate and interact with other people. The focus is on a high sense of responsibility and initiative. You have good self-awareness and must be mature and reliable to handle people in a professional manner. You also have the ability to shift pace, as your work situation can quickly change from calm to suddenly involving a sharp operation. You express yourself well verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Merits

• Valid security guard certificate
• Approved military police training
• Experience in guarding services
• Pistol training at least Block A
• Driver's license for e.g., minibus, L/Tptgb, ATV, and/or snowmobile
• Troop training
• Completed operational commander course under FM UndSäkC
• Previous experience with conscript training

Other

If you have not held a position previously in the Swedish Armed Forces, the employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.

For professional officers: permanent full-time employment. The employment is governed by the Employment Protection Act.

For GSS (Group NCOs, Soldiers, and Sailors): fixed-term full-time employment. The employment is governed by the Swedish Armed Forces' agreement for Group NCOs, Soldiers, and Sailors (GSS/K).

Individual salary setting according to current agreements.

Start date according to agreement with the employer.

Work location: Luleå.

The position involves shift work during days, nights, and weekends, as well as business travel to other locations.
