Recruiting Unit

The Air Base Security Company F 21 consists of two air base security platoons, an air defense platoon, and a guard platoon that fulfills the IBSS (Ready Guard Force) task. The company's main tasks are to train and war-establish conscripts, as well as maintain and develop the capability to defend against low-altitude air and ground threats.

Job Description

The platoon's main task is to fulfill the IBSS (Ready Guard Force) mission. The force provides the squadron's active security protection over time.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patrolling, guarding, access control, visitor reception, and staffing the alarm center.
• Intervening against and reporting security-threatening activities according to the action plan.
• Physical training.
• Maintaining knowledge and skills, such as weapons handling and security law.
• Supporting training for both conscripts and employed personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Passed military basic training
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Passed military security guard training
• Field test under 13:30 and multitest at least 175 points

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team. The focus is on a high sense of responsibility and initiative. You have good self-awareness, are meticulous, and must be mature and reliable to handle people in a professional manner. You also have the ability to shift pace, as your work situation can quickly change from calm to suddenly involving active deployment. You express yourself well orally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

Merits

• Valid security guard certificate
• Passed military police training
• Experience in guard duty
• Pistol training at least Block A
• Previous experience with conscript training
• Driving license for e.g., minibus, light transport vehicle, ATV, snowmobile
• Combat training

Other

Fixed-term full-time employment. The employment is conducted according to the Swedish Armed Forces' agreement for group leaders, soldiers, and sailors (GSS/K). If you have not held a position previously in the Swedish Armed Forces, the employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.

Individual salary setting according to current agreement.

Start date according to agreement with the employer.

Work location: Luleå.

The position involves shift work during days, nights, and weekends, as well as business travel to other locations.
