We are now looking for such a person for Larsson & Kjellberg.

We are a workshop company with a long history, broad competence, and a clear direction forward. We invest in new technology, strengthen our production, and take on increasingly advanced assignments within heavy steel structures, industrial service, and specialist welding competence.

This means we need more than someone who simply “keeps an eye on things.”

We need a team leader who is close to production, close to the people, and close to the decisions.

The Role

As a team leader with us, you are where the action is.

You lead daily production, distribute work, follow up on deliveries, and ensure that the right things are done at the right time. You catch problems, handle deviations, and create clarity when conditions change.

Sometimes it’s about reprioritizing.

Other days it’s about helping the team move forward.

Often it’s about getting people, materials, quality, and schedules to meet in reality.

You don’t need to have all the answers yourself, but you need to be the one who takes charge of the issues.

You will mainly be responsible for

• Leading and distributing daily work in production
• Driving daily management and follow-up
• Ensuring deliveries take place according to plan
• Creating structure, order, and clarity in daily operations
• Following up on quality, performance, and results
• Handling deviations and solving problems together with the team
• Working with 5S and continuous improvements
• Contributing to a safe, efficient, and engaged work environment

To succeed in your role, you have support from

• Production Manager - Your boss, your sounding board regarding direction, priorities, and development.
• Production Engineer – Who drives improvements, methods, and more efficient ways of working.
• Project Manager – Who is responsible for planning, schedules, and customer-oriented project management.
• Quality Manager – Who supports with deviations & quality issues.

Who we think you are

You are likely a person others already turn to when something needs to be solved.

You may have been a team leader before.

Perhaps you have been a lead fitter, welder, CNC operator, team leader, or had a coordinating role in production.

The most important thing is that you have experience from a workshop or industry and that you enjoy leading people in daily operations.

We believe that you:

• Are present in production
• Understand the workshop, pace, and delivery requirements
• Have experience with 5S or improvement work
• Like it when responsibility, people, and technology meet
• Communicate fluently in both Swedish & English

Practical Information

The position is located with Larsson & Kjellberg in Oxelösund.

We have a collective agreement with IF Metall and offer a wellness allowance.

We apply a 6-month probation period.

The position may involve a security clearance.
