About Passalen

Passalen is a non-profit association working for a more inclusive society that sees the potential in every child. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support in organizing their leisure time, finding a friend, or trying out holiday jobs. We also run activities that promote meetings between people.

Passalen is covered by a collective agreement and operates in several locations across Sweden. As an employee here, you will develop and learn on the job while contributing to a more inclusive and socially sustainable society.

Program-specific information

Passalen’s activities are carried out through various programs and projects. In this role, you will work with the Weekend Club. The Weekend Club is a pedagogical program where children and young people with disabilities are given the opportunity to practice social interaction in small groups based on their interests. Participants are divided into groups according to broad interest areas such as gaming, sports, and arts. The Weekend Club is a recurring weekend activity where some groups meet on both Saturday and Sunday one weekend per month, while other groups meet either on Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.

The activities take place at various locations depending on the group. All groups occasionally visit open meeting places, such as cinemas, museums, gaming cafes, bowling alleys, or similar venues, depending on the group's theme.

Job Description

Your work during an activity weekend involves carrying out planned activities according to the schedule. Activities may include baking, playing video games, crafting, or dancing, depending on the specific group. Your task is to support and motivate participants to complete the activities. You serve as an additional pair of hands when needed, while simultaneously encouraging participants to develop and become more independent.

This is a weekend part-time job where you work approximately 1 weekend per month. The workload averages about 3–4 hours per week, with variations throughout the term.

The role also includes mandatory training sessions and meetings held on weekday evenings.

The employment begins in August 2026 and covers one term until December 2026, with the possibility of extension for the next term.

About You

We believe that you, as a candidate:

• Are studying at the upper secondary level
• Are curious about meeting people who are different from yourself and value making everyone feel seen and included in social settings
• Are self-reliant and proactive, as you are often required to make independent decisions on-site
• Are structured, patient, and able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Have an interest in gaming, arts, or sports and enjoy carrying out activities together with others

In addition to these qualities, you are expected to adhere to your scheduled times and enjoy collaborating with other staff on-site.
