We are now looking for a student assistant/childminder for our operation, working both in the school and at the after-school center.

Your Role

In the role of student assistant/childminder, you work closely with students throughout the day. You are part of the school's after-school team, where you collaborate and cooperate with the school's after-school educators and teachers.

During the school day, you are a present, active, and supportive adult in the classroom. You work both in whole-class settings and support individual students who need extra help, both academically and socially. You are also present during breaks and contribute to creating safe and positive break activities where students have the opportunity for play, community, and movement.

At the after-school center, you are involved in and responsible for after-school activities together with your colleagues. You plan, implement, and develop the operation based on the after-school center's mission, the students' needs and interests, as well as the school's common goals. Through play, creativity, movement, and social interaction, you contribute to the students' learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. You enjoy engaging students and creating activities that spark curiosity, involvement, and joy.

Furthermore, the role includes attendance management, daily contact with guardians, participation in meetings, as well as engagement and involvement in the school's systematic quality work. Opening and closing of the after-school center is included in the position.

The position includes among other things:

• supporting students during the school day
• contributing to safety and social development
• planning and implementing activities at the after-school center
• collaborating with teachers, colleagues, and guardians
• being involved in the school's joint development work

Your Experience

We are looking for you who:

• have education as a student assistant, childminder, or equivalent experience
• have experience working in school and/or after-school centers
• have good collaboration skills and a professional approach
• express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in need of special support or with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
