Capio Alva Psychology focuses on mental health for children and young people, characterized by commitment, respectful treatment, and high quality. Our clinics offer a well-functioning structure, a strong sense of community, and close collaboration between various professions such as psychologists, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, and pediatric nurses.
We prioritize your professional development through continuous internal and external supervision, as well as good opportunities for further education. Together with psychologist colleagues at our sister clinic at Medborgarplatsen, we actively work with workshops and joint operational development.
We are now offering a permanent position at our clinic in Hagastaden, Stockholm.
Your RoleWe are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to work with children and young people aged 6–17.
In this role, you will meet with children and families experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues for assessment, treatment, and parental support interventions. The role also includes neuropsychiatric assessments where you work in close collaboration with pediatricians or child psychiatrists in a team.
We work according to a stepped care model, where interventions are provided at different levels – from counseling, lectures, and psychoeducation to group and individual therapy.
The work is structured and planned, with a reasonable number of parallel assessments. After the assessment is completed, the child may be offered continued treatment within Capio Alva Balans if needed, ensuring good continuity for the families.
A typical work week includes a combination of therapeutic work, assessments, teamwork, and supervision.
