About your role

Our goal at Åhléns is to be an experience-driven destination that makes a difference for the customer. As Warehouse & Operations Manager at Åhléns, you are responsible for operationally handling various tasks within the department store's warehouse, logistics, and merchandise flow. You work proactively to ensure a good working environment within your area of responsibility and the associated processes in the department store.

Examples of tasks:

  • To proactively optimize and ensure a sales-driven merchandise flow in the department store from the warehouse to all business areas.

  • To convey knowledge about the routines and processes of the area of responsibility and to actively work to ensure they are followed in daily work.

  • To lead and drive ongoing inventories and year-end stocktakes together with the Store Manager.

  • To serve as the contact person for the department store regarding logistical matters with internal and external partners.

You will become part of a passionate team and work closely with other roles in the department store, such as Visual Merchandiser, Picker, Department Manager, Sales Manager, and Store Manager.

What you bring to us:

  • Several years of work experience in warehouse and logistics, preferably within retail.

  • You enjoy creating routines and structures.

  • Experience with inventory management.

  • It is an advantage if you have a forklift license with A-permission.

About the recruitment

The position is a permanent employment of 27 hours/week. You work according to a schedule that mostly extends over mornings and weekdays. We would prefer that you can start with us on August 4th, as the department store is planned to open at the end of August.
