About Passalen
Passalen is a non-profit association working for a more inclusive society that sees the potential in every child. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support organizing their leisure time, finding a friend, or trying out holiday jobs. We also run activities that promote meetings between people.
Passalen is covered by a collective agreement and operates in several locations across Sweden. As an employee here, you will develop and learn on the job while contributing to a more inclusive and socially sustainable society.
Program-specific information
Passalen’s activities are carried out through various programs and projects. In this role, you will work in the Weekend Club. The Weekend Club is a pedagogical program where children and young people with disabilities are given the opportunity to practice social interaction in a small group based on shared interests. Participants are divided into groups based on broad interest areas such as games, sports, and arts.
The Weekend Club is a recurring weekend activity. Some groups meet on both Saturday and Sunday once a month, while other groups meet either on Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.
The activities take place at various locations depending on the group. All groups occasionally visit open meeting places, such as cinemas, museums, gaming cafes, bowling alleys, or similar venues, depending on the group's theme.
