To our operations at Produktionsköket Sätrahöjden in Gävle, we are now looking for a skilled chef.

In the production kitchen, approximately 12,000 lunch portions are prepared daily. These are delivered to schools, preschools, and as meal boxes to home care services and private individuals who require home delivery.

We are looking for someone who cooks with heart, has a good eye for flavors, works in a structured and independent manner, is environmentally conscious, and is eager to share your passion and joy for work with your colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare delicious meals
  • Ensure that regulations, routines, and policies are followed
  • Participate in maintaining HACCP self-control routines
  • Contribute to minimizing food waste
  • Maintain high standards of order and cleanliness in the kitchen

Qualifications:

  • Relevant chef education, specializing in large-scale kitchens (storkök)
  • Good knowledge of special diets
  • A structured and organized work approach with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Experience working in large-scale kitchens for at least 5 years
  • Experience preparing and prepping at least 10 different menus daily
  • Experience in distributing both hot and cold meals to various operations

Working hours:

The position is full-time, daytime hours. You will work every fourth weekend. Work on certain red days may also be required depending on how they fall during the year.
