About the Role

As an independent CNC operator working in a two-shift system, you will become a vital part of the production team at our client within the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for startup, monitoring, and fine-tuning of CNC machines, as well as quality assurance of manufactured parts according to drawings and work orders. The work is independent and technical, focusing on precision and efficient production within a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (milling/turning) according to drawings and programs.
• Test run and adjust programs to ensure dimensional and quality requirements are met.
• Change tools and fixtures, and inspect the condition of the machine.
• Measure and perform quality control of parts using measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring machines).
• Document production data and deviations, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize flows and deliveries.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is technically interested, detail-oriented, and thrives in independent work. You have experience with CNC preparation or machining and understand the importance of quality and safety in production.

We would like you to:

• Have experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Be able to read and interpret drawings and work specifications.
• Have good measuring skills and familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Be independent, problem-solving, and responsible.
• Speak and write Swedish.

Merits

• Experience with CAM software.
• Experience with CNC turning and multi-operation machines.
• Forklift license or other relevant education.
• Experience with quality work according to ISO or similar systems.

• Scope: Full-time, two-shift system.
• Location: Katrineholm.
• Start date: Immediately or as agreed.
• Employment type: Permanent or fixed-term assignment depending on the client's needs.
