We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer for a long-term assignment with our client in the manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for you who want to work close to production with a focus on automation, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

About the role

As an Automation Engineer, you will work with both support and development of production processes, with a special focus on automation. You will become an integral part of the work to improve production flows, implement new solutions, and ensure efficient and quality-assured production.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Drive improvement work and implement automation solutions in production
• Optimize production flows with a focus on efficiency, quality, and ergonomics
• Implement product changes and create work instructions
• Specify tools and fixtures, and commission new equipment
• Maintain and further develop automated systems
• Train and support staff in production processes
• Program robots and PLCs

Your Profile

• Relevant academic education in production technology, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience from the manufacturing industry with a good understanding of production processes
• Experience in automation, including robot and PLC programming
• Practical experience with Siemens control systems (TIA Portal)
• Experience with robot programming, e.g., ABB RobotStudio and/or Fanuc
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
