We are an ICU and Emergency Department (IVAK), combining intensive care and emergency services in the same unit. Here, we care for acutely ill patients with a strong focus on teamwork to provide the best possible care at a small hospital in a rural area.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have good knowledge of Swedish. Experience in emergency care and/or knowledge of Finnish is an advantage.

What you will work with

The emergency department is open 24/7 to care for acutely ill patients. Our operations are characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration with the patient in focus. The nurse's role is to perform an initial assessment of incoming patients and also have care responsibility throughout the entire process. The nurse plays a key role in seeing the whole picture of the patient's visit to the emergency department.

Information about the position

Fixed-term full-time substitute position during the period June–August 2026. Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date.
