As a team leader, you work together with the night group and are part of the daily care work. The role is new to the operations and will develop over time in close collaboration with both the work group and the unit manager. You will have an important role in creating structure, security, and quality in the work.

Home care is part of the Social Services Administration, which consists of 600 employees where the breadth of tasks is extensive. The administration is divided into five operational areas and is located throughout the municipality. Here, responsibility lies in providing care and support, assistance and service, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens who need it, at all stages of life.

A day as a team leader and assistant nurse in the home care night group 

You will base your work from Krokom and work in the areas of Ås, Krokom, Föllinge, Offerdal, and Nälden.

Your main tasks:

• Work operationally in the night group with care and support
• Ensure that routines, guidelines, and working methods are followed
• Identify, handle, and follow up on deviations
• Support the implementation of new and revised routines
• Contribute to systematic quality work and identify areas for improvement
• Promote reflection and a professional attitude in the work group
• Act as a link between the work group and the unit manager

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and wish to develop in a leadership role. You have a strong commitment to quality in care and a good approach towards both patients and colleagues.

You are a person who:

• Has good cooperation skills and builds secure relationships
• Is confident in leading and making decisions, even when the decisions are challenging
• Has the ability and willingness to mentor and develop others
• Is solution-focused and sees opportunities

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation and communication are an important part of the work
• Category B driver's license (car is used on all trips)
• Trained assistant nurse

Other information

As a team leader, you will work closely with the unit manager in a collaborative leadership style. Together with the unit manager and colleagues, we develop both the operations and the role of team leader. You will have the opportunity to grow in your responsibility and contribute with your ideas, your structure, and your presence in the daily work. The team leader role will be an important link between employees and management, where management and the team leader together create clarity, participation, and joy in work. We offer you:

• Full-time permanent employment as an assistant nurse 
• Temporary position as team leader for 12 months
• Base salary as an assistant nurse plus a salary supplement for team leader, the salary is set individually.

The work is scheduled according to the regular night schedule. It also includes scheduled daytime for regular check-ins with the unit manager.
