About Us

Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm is a smaller hospital that fosters a sense of community where individuals with diverse skills work together in open dialogue. All outpatient care in Katrineholm/Flen/Vingåker is organized under one of the region's women's clinics. Midwife clinics are located throughout Sörmland, both at the hospital, health centers, and family centers. The same premises also house the maternity ward clinic, Gyn/Sesam clinic, and ultrasound services. This creates unparalleled cohesion, community, and development opportunities for you. We are currently looking for a midwife for our midwife clinic at Kullbergska Hospital.

Your Responsibilities

Here, you will work independently in a varied and stimulating environment in close collaboration with midwife colleagues, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and doctors. As a midwife, your role includes, among other things, telephone counseling, cervical screening (Pap smear), parent groups, routine midwife visits during pregnancy, and contraceptive counseling. Rotation to family centers may occur.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Previous experience from maternity care and/or mother and child health care is considered an asset for this position. As a person, you are accustomed to working independently, have good communication skills, and are clear in your approach, both towards patients, relatives, and colleagues. You are secure in your professional role, have the ability to structure your workday, and collaborating with others is a natural part of who you are and a prerequisite for you to thrive.

Employment Type

Permanent full-time position or according to agreement, with start date according to agreement.
