THE ROLE OF JUNIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER

As a Junior Mechanical Designer, you will face a varied and problem-solving daily routine where you drive and manage technical matters from production and service. You collaborate closely with strength engineers, specialists in cooling, and service personnel to analyze deviations, identify root causes, and propose technical solutions. You will become part of an international team, where many discussions will take place in English. The role combines office and remote work, with approximately two days on-site and three days remote, and includes participation in technical and project meetings, where you may eventually develop into a leading role. The position suits someone who is social and looks forward to some business travel as well as some customer and supplier contact.

Selected responsibilities

• Work with CAD tools
• Drive and coordinate matters from production and service, with support from other technical groups
• Investigate fault reports and deviations, identify root causes, and propose solutions
• Create concepts, detailed designs, and revise existing designs
• Formulate responses and documentation in SAP as well as create standard materials
• Participate in and sometimes lead technical, information, and project meetings, and collaborate with service personnel on root cause analysis

YOU WHO APPLY HAVE:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, mechanical design, or similar education, graduating by summer 2026
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

MERITORIOUS:

• Interest in technical production and mechanics
• Knowledge of handling component machining
• Experience with CAD tools and 2D drawings
