In the role of Tool Manager, you play a key function in ensuring that the company's tools are safe, accessible, and correctly calibrated within set timeframes. This role is central to maintaining high quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within the vehicle maintenance operations.

You will work both operationally and administratively, with responsibility for tools, systems, environmental, and safety issues. You will collaborate closely with tool managers in all depots as well as with other functions within the organization. The goal is to ensure high tool availability and effective cooperation regarding environmental, occupational health and safety, and fire safety matters. You will also maintain regular contact with external suppliers and partners related to calibration, tools, and safety.

Main Responsibilities

The role includes among other things:

• Ensuring that tools requiring calibration are calibrated and maintained according to current intervals.
• Monitoring calibration dates and creating AO/RMA requests for calibration.
• Sending tools to external suppliers for calibration.
• Reviewing and analyzing calibration protocols and taking action in case of deviations.
• Serving as the overarching tool manager and superuser in Maximo for all depots.
• Registering, naming, and administering tools requiring calibration, as well as creating PM templates in Maximo.
• Responsible for purchasing new tools and developing new tools when work processes change or new tasks arise.
• Participating in and contributing to risk assessments within the operations.

Additionally, the role includes several important representative and safety responsibilities:

• Work Environment, Environmental, and Chemical Representative (updating inventories and safety data sheets).
• Responsibility for first aid supplies (purchasing, refilling, and replacement).
• Supervisor for flammable substances – ensuring safe handling, storage, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma (preferably with a technical focus).

Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Good understanding of technical documentation and quality requirements.
• Extensive experience working independently, taking initiative in tasks.
• Experience in tool management, calibration, or maintenance.
• System proficiency, preferably experience with Maximo or similar maintenance systems.
