Job Description

We are currently looking for a Designer/Constructor for Siemens Energy in Finspång, who will be involved in delivery projects and work closely with sub-project managers in the Core Turbine Integration department. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out and reporting on assigned project activities covered by customer documentation, system descriptions, P&ID, and datasheets. The interfaces are internal to Siemens Energy.

The role of Designer/Constructor in this assignment includes varied tasks that are adapted to customer requirements, contracts, and project schedules. We see you as a person who is meticulous, driven, and thrives working independently.

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. You have a few years of relevant work experience with a background in engineering, design, and preferably knowledge of gas turbines. Furthermore, we consider it an advantage if you have experience with the tools Comos and PLM and have worked in oil/gas projects.

Responsibilities

• You will drive and participate in the department's business development projects.
• You will work in close collaboration with Core sub-project managers and other designers.
• The job involves adhering to clear timeframes but where the requirement for flexibility is high due to rapid changes that entail replanning.
• You are responsible for carrying out and reporting on assigned project activities, which among other things include customer documentation. Examples of this are system descriptions, P&ID, and datasheets.

Qualifications

You have experience with the tools Comos and PLM. Have experience with Oil/Gas projects. Have knowledge of KKS and ISA.

You are a person with experience in engineering, design, or other gas turbine knowledge.

You are a civil or university engineer with a focus on mechanical engineering or equivalent, or alternatively have relevant work experience.

You are meticulous, driven, responsible, and solution-oriented.

You are flexible and goal-oriented.

You master English and Swedish well, both in writing and speech.
