About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Stockholm city, with Stockholm Vatten och Avfall as the client and partner. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for engaged and positive environmental workers with a C-driving license and YKB.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are Verdis's face to the outside world and you will become one of our everyday heroes who help keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning task is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You are based at our depot in Älvsjö and report to the local management.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting of deviations
• Daily maintenance of vehicles and superstructures

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a C-driving license and YKB and who master the Swedish language in speech and writing.

The following experience and skills are seen as meritorious:

• Experience in driving heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Experience in some type of waste collection
• Local knowledge (Stockholm)
• Good computer skills

Start: According to agreement (as soon as possible)
Employment type and extent: Permanent, full-time (probationary employment applies).
Working hours: We have operations Monday to Friday with working hours starting at 05:30.
