About the position

At Nordiskt Lärcenter, we are currently looking for an engaged mathematics teacher for a short-term substitute position during the summer. The assignment involves classroom teaching at our units in Täby and Järfälla and is aimed at you who thrive on meeting students at different levels and want to make a difference during an intensive and meaningful period.

Employment period: June 15 – July 20

Scope: Hourly employment, approx. 20 hours per week

Working days and time: Daytime

Location: Nordiskt Lärcenter, Täby and Järfälla

Teaching format: Classroom

Your responsibilities

• Plan and conduct mathematics teaching at both upper secondary and lower secondary school levels.
• Adapt the teaching to the students' individual prerequisites and needs.
• Provide feedback and support to the students throughout the course.

We are looking for you who

• Have a teaching license with eligibility in mathematics, or are currently studying to become a teacher.
• Have experience teaching mathematics, preferably at both upper secondary and lower secondary levels.
• Are confident in the classroom environment and have the ability to create a structured and welcoming learning climate.
• Can work at both our units in Täby and Järfälla.

Nordiskt Lärcenter is an adult education provider with units in the Stockholm region. We offer courses at lower secondary and upper secondary levels in both classroom and distance formats.
