A small health center with a big heart. We are a great team working with rural medicine on the frontier, yet still at the forefront!
We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine, have Swedish language proficiency at level C1, and a valid driver's license. Experience working in rural areas is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure your work, and work independently. You value and see the benefits of collaboration with others. You are receptive and adaptable. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You communicate clearly, ensuring that messages are received and that relevant parties understand what is expected of them. You follow up and express a positive attitude towards your work, the operations, and/or the organization. You act in accordance with decisions, goals, and guidelines made. You raise criticism in the appropriate forum, directly with relevant parties or superiors. You are flexible, have a holistic view, and lead, motivate, and empower others with the authority needed to efficiently achieve common goals.
What you will work with
A doctor in a rural area is a "true" general practitioner. They work with the whole person, utilizing the broadest competence found within the medical profession, blending roles such as emergency physician, gynecologist, orthopedist, radiologist, surgeon, pediatrician, internist, neurologist, geriatrician, and above all, a compassionate human being for their patients.
Together with us, you will have the opportunity to develop professionally and contribute to the development of our teamwork. The daily doctor's practice consists of both scheduled appointments and limited walk-in care.
As the Medical Officer (MLA), you assist the Operations Manager in matters requiring medical expertise. Together with the manager and unit managers, you form the practical leadership of the health center. The role includes monitoring medical development within the area of operation, including questions regarding medical technology products, and, where appropriate, providing proposals on medical policy issues.
What we offer you
- Development and career opportunities where you get to help shape the health and care of the future.
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness allowances.

We actively work for an equal gender distribution and see diversity as a strength. We welcome employees with different backgrounds and work to ensure our workplace is accessible to everyone.
Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
