Do you want to work in a modern workshop with advanced equipment, series production, and high technical expertise? At PKS Mekaniska in Kumla, you will have the opportunity to grow in the role of a welder and become an important part of our continued expansion.

About the role

As a welder with us, you will primarily work with MIG/MAG welding in black steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The work consists mainly of series production, but also some small-batch production. You will work according to drawings and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and are responsible for ensuring that the welds meet the correct quality and tolerance standards. The role involves close collaboration with the production manager, team leaders, and colleagues in production.

Your responsibilities

• Perform MIG/MAG welding in black steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Work according to drawings and WPS.
• Handle welding fixtures and work in series production, as well as small-batch production when needed.
• Prepare materials (cutting, grinding, beveling) when necessary.
• Measure and inspect welds according to requirements and tolerances.
• Contribute to improvements and development of working methods.

• You have experience with MIG/MAG welding.
• You are proficient in reading drawings and understanding tolerances.
• You are experienced in working with contract manufacturing.
• You have experience working with welding fixtures.
• You are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious.
• You want to develop in your profession and contribute to a strong production.
