We have a stable nursing team and are now looking for a nurse for our excellent home care service.

About us:

Sigtuna Läkarhus is located on the picturesque pedestrian street in the heart of beautiful and charming Sigtuna, just 30 minutes from Stockholm.

We are now continuing to develop care in outlying areas to support Urgent Care Clinics, work preventively, and reduce readmissions to emergency hospitals. Our quality work for 2024 includes expanded quality and patient safety care in our large home care service with approximately 100 patients. We use NEWS2 in our home care to increase patient safety and ensure good care. We work in teams in home care with a focus on good quality and patient safety!

In 2023, we focused on mental ill health, where we reduced the number of treatment series with good quality, patient safety, and good accessibility. The team includes both a psychologist and a nurse with specialist training in psychiatry. We also have Child Health Services (BVC). We have good cooperation with a rehabilitation clinic nearby. Job Description:

The work involves all typical tasks for a nurse in home care and occasionally strengthens our clinic when needed.

The role requires broad competence and independence. It is an important and varied job with the opportunity to vary tasks.

Requirements:

Licensed nurse or district nurse with prescribing rights and eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Experience working in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is meritorious. Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare medical record system are meritorious. B driving license.

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time 100%. Start date according to agreement.

You need to be flexible, responsible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a group. A good and respectful attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as the ability to share knowledge and information, is of utmost importance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and fitting into the work group.

The position will be filled subject to it not being needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- Register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
