Healthcare provider Tiohundra and Norrtälje Hospital are launching a dermatology and wound care clinic at Norrtälje Hospital in the spring of 2026. We are now looking for two new colleagues with specialist competence in dermatology. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a new operation with a focus on high medical quality. You will also have good opportunities to influence the design of your role based on your conditions and areas of interest.

About the role

As a Consultant/Specialist Physician in dermatology, you will be a key person in the startup of our dermatology clinic. You will be responsible for clinic operations, supervision of doctors in training, and consultation phone duties. We do not have an on-call line outside of regular clinic hours.

You will work closely with nurses and assistant nurses in a team that together creates safe and professional care for our patients. The team also includes geriatricians and district physicians with a special interest in wound care. We offer flexibility in work and working hours – for example, parts of the administrative work can be performed from home. We are happy to discuss employment degree based on your preferences.

Your duties include among other things:

• Diagnosis and treatment of common skin diseases, including specialist clinic for wound care.
• Assessment of skin tumors and management of skin cancer (including referral when necessary).
• Minor surgical procedures, skin biopsies, and sampling.
• Collaboration with other specialties and healthcare facilities.
• Development of routines and quality at the clinic.

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a licensed physician with specialist competence in dermatology.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience in clinic operations and minor surgical procedures.
