Ersta Elderly Care is part of Ersta Diaconia and operates a total of nine elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and content-rich daily life, featuring activities, community, and good, enjoyable meals. At our facilities, everyone should feel at home!

Hannahemmet, or Hannakoti as we are known in Finnish, is a care and support residence with 54 apartments in Bromma for individuals with somatic and dementia conditions. It is located a short walk from the Råcksta metro station. We are close to green areas and have a lush, green inner courtyard. Hannahemmet has a Finnish profile and guarantees Finnish-speaking staff on one of our dementia wards. Therefore, we also celebrate Finnish holidays and traditions.

About the role

In the role of assistant nurse (undersköterska), you will collaborate closely with residents, relatives, management, and other care staff. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for those living with us are important parts of the job. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and key worker systems.

This advertisement concerns a 100% position with a start date in May or June 2026. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend according to a rolling four-week schedule.

Your experience

We are looking for you who have:

• a completed upper secondary care education or equivalent adult education (1500 upper secondary credits)
• the ability to speak and understand Finnish
• good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• good computer skills
