Track Welder at Infranord in Hallsberg

Infranord has been awarded the contract to perform basic maintenance of the railway infrastructure on the Western Main Line, Hallsberg-Laxå section, as well as Hallsberg marshalling yard, starting from September 1, 2026. We are now looking for Track Welders. Location: Hallsberg.

Job Responsibilities

As a Track Welder with us, you will be part of a team working on track welding in operation and maintenance contracts as well as new construction. Common tasks include:

• Butt welding and overlay welding
• Cutting and grinding

Our assignment sometimes requires us to be on site quickly, which means we are primarily looking for you who live in Hallsberg and the surrounding area, or are willing to move here.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education and basic training in track welding. The position requires that you have a Category B driver's license and meet medical requirements to be approved for security service.
