Job Responsibilities as a Day/Evening Nurse

As a day/evening nurse at Care Unit C, specializing in neurology, stroke, and internal medicine, your work involves planning, leading, and organizing nursing care together with the patient and other healthcare professionals. We work with an individualized approach where the patient is at the center.

The work is varied and stimulating, with no two days being the same. As a nurse, you will develop through multifaceted tasks inherent to broad medical emergency care.

Your Future Workplace

The Department of Medicine and Geriatrics is the largest department at Värnamo Hospital, housing many operations under one roof. We have three inpatient care units with different focuses on medical specialties. The department also includes outpatient care, comprising medical day care and the dialysis unit. Our outpatient activities cover all medical specialties.

Our facilities are well-planned and modern, and we work with the patient in focus. Here, you will work alongside both experienced colleagues and new staff, all with great commitment.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a genuine interest in people and who constantly keeps the patient in focus. We would appreciate if you have previous experience working in a hospital, but this is not a requirement.

You thrive in a workplace where you have the opportunity to work with mixed tasks at a varied pace. Therefore, it is important to us that you are a flexible person with a pleasant demeanor and have a good ability to structure your work.
