As part of Novum Assistans, you are involved as an employee through regular workplace meetings where the development of assignments takes place. As an assistance company, we create the conditions for the tasks required by the assistance, through continuous competence development based on the needs of the assignment. As an assistant, you therefore have the opportunity for personal development both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a man in his 60s, located a bit outside Lagan, Ljungby Municipality. The man works in day activity and enjoys gym, bowling, and playing games in his spare time. The work includes personal care, rehabilitation, motivation, and activation. It is important that you are thorough with cleaning and have good hygiene. The work group is characterized by great warmth and care for one another.

Who are you as an applicant? You are a cheerful, warm, social, patient, tidy, and flexible person who can take appropriate initiatives. You enjoy being outdoors and want to contribute to and motivate the client to have an active life. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate, showing loyalty and flexibility towards other assistants in the group. Important qualities are that you show respect and dignity towards the client, while being a person with positive energy and a good sense of humor. We primarily see male applicants.

It is positive if you share the client's Christian worldview.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license and access to a car, as the man lives in a rural area.
• Non-smoker.
• Good knowledge of English, as the client is English-speaking.

About the employment

• The employment is a permanent position for as long as the assignment lasts. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement.
• Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend. Schedule: every other week Thursday 07:00–21:00, every other week Monday and Wednesday 07:00–21:00, and every sixth Saturday 07:00–18:00.
• Regular workplace meetings take place where the development of the assignment occurs.
• You will receive training and introduction to the medical tasks and continuous competence development based on the needs of the assignment.
• The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided during a potential interview. Start date is by agreement. To be employed by Novum Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.

In this recruitment, we apply a personality test for all applicants. This takes about 15–20 minutes to complete, and you will receive an invitation via email after you have applied for the position.
