We are now looking for residential support workers for our teams in Västerås. The positions are part-time.

About the role

As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and rich in content. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and as on-call overnight duty.

You have a team leader or group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is meritorious. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow. Requirement: Must be 18 years old.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have our users' best interests as your starting point in everything you do.
