Do you want to work at the absolute forefront of technology and contribute to developing and ensuring the functionality of tomorrow's flight systems? We are now looking for a driven project manager for a role where you become the hub of some of the client's most complex integration projects.

About the role

As a project manager in this role, you lead integration projects for weapons, sensors, fuel tanks, and other external stores on the new version of the aircraft. You are responsible for the entire chain from early studies to final certification and work closely with several technical areas, such as flight technology, structural analysis, design, procurement, and external suppliers. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work where you ensure that requirements are met, risks are managed, and the project reaches its milestones.

The work involves extensive documentation and requires you to collect, review, and compile technical data from many disciplines. You represent the project in internal forums as well as in dialogue with the client and suppliers, and you are responsible for keeping reporting, status updates, and preparations for decisions together. The role may also involve participation in test campaigns at various test flight sites, both nationally and internationally, where flight tests and verification are conducted.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a university degree in engineering or equivalent, alternatively corresponding work experience
• Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience from, for example, a technical role
• Have very good communication skills in speech and writing
• Are structured, responsible, and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces

The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Meritorious

• Experience with tools such as GANTT, Jira, MS Project, Antura, or similar
• Experience with calculation work and planning
• Good system understanding and ability to quickly get into new tools
• Interest in military systems, flight technology, or defense materiel
