Eccera is now looking for a Network Engineer for a client within the defense industry. In this role, you will work with operations, development, and upgrades of network environments, focusing on security, stability, and performance. We are looking for you who have experience with LAN environments (Cisco and HPE Aruba), Fortigate, as well as SD-WAN, and who are accustomed to working with monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation within network infrastructure.

Location and Work Environment

The location is in Karlskoga and Arboga (possibility to base out of Örebro as well). There is an opportunity to work remotely 1 day a week, with the rest of the work performed onsite. Your Responsibilities

You will work in both project and maintenance assignments where the focus lies on operations, development, and upgrades of network environments. The work aims to ensure high functionality, robustness, and security in complex IT environments. The assignment is varied and can range from operational operations to more development and improvement work within network infrastructure.

• Operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network environments
• Participation in projects related to development and upgrades
• Ensuring requirements for availability, performance, and security
• Working with monitoring, management, and improvement of network solutions
• Automation and efficiency improvements in deployment and configuration

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 4–5 years of experience within networking/IT infrastructure
• Strong competence in:
  • LAN (Cisco and HPE Aruba)
  • Fortinet / Fortigate
  • SD-WAN (Cisco)
• Experience with network-related tools for:
  • Management and monitoring
  • Scripting and automation

Meritorious

• Experience with cloud services such as Azure and/or AWS
• Experience working in security-classified or complex environments

Other

For this assignment, you must be eligible for a security clearance check.
