Job Duties

We offer summer jobs in the following areas:

• Elderly care (specialized housing and home help services)
• Elderly psychiatry
• Night shifts in elderly care
• Disability support (LSS)
• Neuropsychiatry
• Food services

Elderly Care, Elderly Psychiatry, and Night Shifts

Here, you will assist the elderly with various support measures, such as nursing care, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompaniment, supervision, and activities like walks. Work is performed in specialized housing or in the individual's private home. The role also includes documentation. During night shifts, you usually work alone but collaborate closely with the home care night nurses.

Disability Support (LSS)

Here, you provide support, social services, and nursing care to users in their daily lives. You will work in LSS housing, such as group homes or service apartments, or provide personal assistance.

Neuropsychiatry

Here, you provide support, nursing care, and guidance to children, adolescents, and young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, such as ADHD and autism. You work by meeting the child/young person based on their development and functional level. Work is conducted both in teams and independently.

Food Services

Here, you handle various kitchen tasks by preparing and cooking meals for the municipality's operations. You will also be responsible for ordering goods from suppliers.

Qualifications

Elderly Care, Elderly Psychiatry, and Night Shifts

We are looking for someone who sees people as individuals and wants to strengthen their ability to help themselves. You are good at seeing the big picture while focusing on the interaction with the individual and their relatives. A good attitude towards others is very important. You enjoy working both in groups and alone. You are responsible, service-oriented, stress-resistant, and sensitive. It is an advantage if you are trained as an assistant nurse or have experience in care work. You must have good command of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as computer skills.

Disability Support and Neuropsychiatry

We are looking for someone who sees people as individuals and wants to strengthen their ability to help themselves. You are meticulous, calm, stress-resistant, and flexible. You are good at seeing the big picture while focusing on the interaction with the individual. Within disability support and neuropsychiatry, it is an advantage if you have education in the field or work experience as a personal assistant or treatment assistant.

Food Services

We are looking for someone who is quality-conscious, enjoys working in a group, and wants to be useful to others. It is an advantage if you have education in nutrition and work experience in a kitchen.

General Requirements for All Positions

• You have passed at least the equivalent of Swedish compulsory school.
• You have at least a language level equivalent to Basic Swedish Course 1.
