About the position

As a Leading Technician in ventilation at AB Evelko, you will be responsible for leading and quality-assuring ventilation work in our projects. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring that the work is carried out according to drawings, requirements, and current regulations. The role involves both practical work on construction sites as well as planning, follow-up, and reporting. The work can be physically demanding at times, with heavy lifting involved. Our office is located in Uppsala, but we have projects throughout Uppland and the northern suburbs of Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work within the team and act as the first point of contact for technicians on-site
• Perform and quality-assure the installation, balancing, and pressure testing of ventilation systems
• Read and follow drawings, installation documentation, and technical documents
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, customers, and subcontractors to ensure delivery and schedules
• Plan material requirements and place or initiate orders as needed
• Responsible for documentation, deviation reporting, and handover upon completion of work
• Coaching and leading technicians with a focus on safety, quality, and efficient work execution
• Participate in early stages of project start-up to contribute installation expertise and improved working methods

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience with ventilation installations and good technical understanding
• Has experience leading technicians or has held a supervisory role previously
• Can read and interpret drawings and technical documents
• Education in ventilation technology is preferred
• Is accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility for project execution
• Has a valid B driver's license
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

An extract from the credit register may be required as we are SUA-classified in several projects.
