Stena Recycling is now looking for two production workers for our on-site solution in Forsmark, based out of Gävle. This is a role for you who thrives in a structured and safe environment, likes order and routine, and wants to work practically close to the operations – but also to plan and own your work.

Your Responsibilities

As a production worker at Stena, you work on-site at our customer's facility in Forsmark, in a security-classified and well-organized industrial environment. You play a key role in the daily handling of materials and waste, and together with a colleague, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient, safe, and high-quality workflow. You collect, check, and sort incoming materials, where transport and movement between the area's various environmental stations take place using a loader or forklift. You are responsible for classifying, marking, and packing waste – including hazardous waste – according to current procedures before it is transported further within the area. The role places high demands on structure and personal responsibility, where you plan rounds, emptying schedules, and create efficient routes adapted to the workday based on operational needs. At the same time, you work closely with a colleague, without a manager on site, and you are expected to jointly take ownership of safety, task distribution, and daily operations. Central parts of the work in Forsmark are safety, order, and routine. You actively work with supervision of the working environment, equipment, and material flows, and ensure that work is carried out according to established rules and procedures. You identify deviations and risks and contribute to improvements in daily work. The position is located at the customer's site in Forsmark with a planned start date of September 1st. The role requires security clearance (level 3), which is conducted as part of the recruitment process.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are self-motivated, responsible, and thrive in a role where you get to plan and drive your own work forward. You have a structured approach to work and a natural focus on safety, quality, and order. You have a secondary education or equivalent, as well as experience from industry, production, warehousing, or logistics. You are accustomed to working with machinery and have experience operating forklifts or loaders. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have a forklift or loader license, experience with hazardous waste, ADR, or work in a security-classified or regulated environment.
