The Role of Specialist Physician in Geriatrics

In the role of specialist physician in geriatrics, you will have clinical responsibility for patients with complex medical needs. You will work closely with other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to care, from diagnostics and treatment to rehabilitation and preventive measures.

Your Future Workplace

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic has a total of three care units as well as an outpatient clinic, day care, and dialysis. We handle everything from stroke care to endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and nephrology – a broad spectrum of specialties that makes every day both developing and rewarding.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in geriatrics. We consider it an advantage if you have broad internal medicine knowledge in your background.

We would appreciate it if you have a natural ability to communicate and create a sense of security for your patients.

As a person, you are also empathetic, secure, and stable with a good ability to distinguish between the personal and professional. You are confident in your knowledge and competence, dare to make your own decisions, and take responsibility for your tasks. Since the work involves a lot of collaboration with other colleagues, we see that you have an easy time working well with other people. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Our Offer to You

We offer you a varied job at a smaller hospital where all competence is close at hand. Here you get favorable working hours meaning work Monday-Friday between 08:00-16:30. Standard on-call duties are included in the position.

The position is a permanent full-time position. Start date is by agreement.
