We are now looking for

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Estrella, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with knowledge in mechanics and automation. This is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, but you will be employed directly by Estrella. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work in a rolling 5-shift system covering day, evening, and night shifts.

What you will do

As a Maintenance Technician at Estrella, no two days are alike. With your knowledge in automation, you will perform continuous maintenance on production equipment, manufacture parts and equipment as needed, carry out preventive maintenance, and report completed work according to procedures. You will also ensure the functionality of the building and its subsystems, such as ventilation and boilers.

You will participate in improvement projects, ensure that drawings and documentation are kept up to date during changes, and conduct root cause analyses in the event of breakdowns. Other examples of tasks include:

• Planning future work and contacting suppliers.
• Participating in development projects as a representative for the Maintenance Department (UH).
• Training production personnel in equipment handling.
• Ensuring order and cleanliness are maintained within the Maintenance Department's domains.
• Actively evaluating work environment aspects of equipment and promoting positive development in the work environment area.

We are looking for you who

• Have a high school, vocational (YH), or university education in automation, vehicles, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Have work experience in maintenance within the industry.
• Have very good knowledge in both mechanics and automation.
• Are computer literate and have very good knowledge of Office programs.
• Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have basic knowledge of English.
• Have good technical understanding and a great interest in technology.

Knowledge of welding, turning, or milling is considered an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have previously worked as an industrial electrician or in the food industry, but this is not a requirement.
