ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are currently looking for summer replacements for one of our clients in Mjölby. The work is scheduled both on weekdays and weekends.

Working hours may vary within the timeframes listed below and include overnight waiting time:

• 09:21 - 09:00 with waiting time

• 24-hour shifts can also be divided into shorter shifts with varying times

Start date is by agreement, preferably immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 60s with multiple sclerosis (MS). She uses a wheelchair and aids such as a shower chair and sliding board, and has a catheter. There are two cats in the home, so it is important that you, as an assistant, are comfortable working in an environment with cats. Furthermore, she enjoys spending time outdoors, either in the garden or by taking a walk.

The tasks include but are not limited to:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores

• Assisting with transfers and dressing/undressing

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As a person, you should be cheerful, social, attentive, pedagogical, and have good patience. If you can sew, bake, or have previous experience with gardening, it is meritorious but not a requirement for the position. The client requests female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals

MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant

• Similar interests to the client, such as baking, sewing, gardening

Employment: Summer replacement

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

Since the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so ordering should be done well in advance.
