Personal Assistant for a Young Woman with Cri du Chat Syndrome

Do you want a job where you become an important part of a young woman's daily life and sense of security? We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a 19-year-old girl with Cri du Chat Syndrome. She always needs to have someone by her side. Therefore, your sense of responsibility and engagement are crucial.

About the Employer

She is a young woman with strong will and personality. She can sometimes be stubborn and speak her mind, which means that as an assistant, you need to be both patient and respectful in your interactions. At the same time, she appreciates when daily life flows smoothly with routines, walks, and companionship.

She uses a wheelchair when outdoors, but walks short distances indoors. She may vomit frequently, which means you need to be alert and able to help quickly, for example by holding out a vomit bag.

About the Role

As a personal assistant, you are her safe support in daily life. You are there to provide help, encouragement, and structure, but also to ensure that she is never left alone. You need to be someone who takes initiative and does not wait for someone else to say what needs to be done.

Your tasks may include:

• Providing practical support in daily life.
• Supporting with personal care.
• Accompanying on walks and activities.
• Always keeping an eye on her and creating a sense of security.

We are looking for someone who

• Is responsible, attentive, and proactive.
• Has the ability to remain calm, secure, and patient even when she is stubborn.
• Is flexible and solution-oriented in various situations.
• Has experience working with people with disabilities – advantageous but not a requirement.
