On behalf of BRP Systems, we are currently looking for a Senior SaaS Software Architect with strong experience in system architecture and a clear interest in Applied AI and agent-based systems. This is a key role in the development of a modern AI-driven SaaS platform for the gym and fitness industry.

About the role:

BRP Systems develops a leading SaaS platform for the fitness and training industry where technology, data, and user experience meet. As a Senior SaaS Software Architect, you will be a central part of designing, developing, and driving the next generation of platform architecture. You will work closely with both product and engineering teams and have clear responsibility for technical decisions, scalability, and long-term system design. The role combines hands-on development with strategic architecture and suits you if you thrive at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and further develop a scalable SaaS architecture
• Build and develop agent-based AI features in the platform
• Responsible for system design from UX to backend and databases
• Drive event-driven architecture and modern integration patterns
• Ensure robustness, security, scalability, and operability
• Develop and manage APIs for various user flows and integrations
• Work closely with development teams in an agile and product-oriented environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience with SaaS architecture in large-scale systems
• Has worked with distributed systems and cloud-based platforms
• Has a good understanding of system design and software architecture across the full stack
• Has experience in backend development and modern system design
• Is familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or document databases
• Has experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Has worked with container technology and Kubernetes
• Communicates fluently in English, both verbally and in writing

As a person, you are curious, technically driven, and have a strong desire to understand new technologies. You thrive in environments where change is constant and where you are expected to combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. You are a natural team player who also takes ownership of your area.

It is not required, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience with Applied AI, LLMs, or agent-based systems
• Knowledge in Typescript, Golang, or Java
• Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka, NATS, Jetstream)
• Experience with modularized or enterprise architectures
• Experience with closed-loop / agentic system design
