ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a boy aged 14. We offer a temporary position at 40% where you work a waking night shift. We also see that you can step in extra in case of illness, etc. Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 23:00 - 07:00 (waking night)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is an active and happy 14-year-old boy who lives with his family just outside Västerås. He enjoys playing video games with friends. Your duties include, among other things, monitoring a tracheostomy, as well as inhalation if needed. Travel may also occur in the work.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who are calm, sensitive, empathetic, and flexible. Experience working with children is a plus, as is education as a nursing assistant or experience from care and social services. If you have knowledge about tracheostomy, it is a great advantage. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, as good chemistry between you, the client, and the relatives is crucial for a secure cooperation. The client requests only female assistants.

• Non-smoker

• Not allergic to fur animals

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

• Healthcare education

• Healthcare experience

• Experience working waking nights

• Experience with tracheostomy

• Experience working with children

Employment level: 40%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check covers both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made in good time.
