Our operating department offers anesthesia and surgical services to various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and acute management of trauma patients are provided. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides surgical care in all surgical specialties except thoracic/cardiovascular surgery. Our units perform both elective and emergency surgery, with operations scheduled around the clock.

During the night shifts, you will encounter patients in acute and often life-threatening situations. Here, high-tech surgery is combined with rapid decision-making, structured teamwork, and broad medical expertise.

As an operating room nurse on night duty, you will care for patients who need surgery during the night across all sections. The emergency procedures at night include trauma orthopedics, abdominal, urological, and gynecological surgery. Advanced emergency surgery involving the central nervous system and airways, as well as emergency procedures in pediatric surgery.

Job Description

As an operating room nurse at night, you work with emergency surgery across all sections of the operating department at ANOPIVA. Depending on your previous experience, you will receive an individualized introduction.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education in operating room care and have a special interest in emergency surgery. We prefer that you have several years of experience working as an operating room nurse.

You must have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing as you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Great importance is attached to personal suitability and maturity.

The work is characterized by excitement and variation where your flexibility and problem-solving skills come into play. You are a curious person who wants to contribute to the development of the operations.

It is important that you enjoy teamwork and work well with other people in a listening and smooth manner. Furthermore, you are an engaged person who wants to contribute to a positive and good work environment.
