Do you want to be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods from supplier to central warehouse, ensuring high delivery service and optimal stock levels? Are you a flexible and communicative problem solver with strong analytical skills? Then this might be the role for you.
About the role
As a Supply Planner, you will have close contact with other functions within the company, such as Customer & Logistics Service, Demand Planning, Procurement, Sales, Category Management, Quality, and Finance. You will independently ensure deliveries within the promised lead time from suppliers within your scope to the warehouse. You will place call-off orders, share forecasts, and book ongoing transport. You will also participate in product development projects together with Category and Procurement, and you will be responsible for correct planning parameters and safety stock settings in the business system SAP.
This is a consultancy assignment to cover a temporary position, initially extending until the end of next summer.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves managing and optimizing the flow of goods from supplier to customer, including planning, forecasting, and coordination with various stakeholders.
- Proactively inform about risks of potential shortage situations or future overstock.
- Work towards minimal write-offs of finished goods in the warehouse using warehouse management in SAP: analyzing optimal batch size versus shelf life and production frequency, sales versus forecast, etc.
- Own the rationing process for your own assortment during shortage situations (ensuring volume allocation to customers according to fair share).
- Create exit and entry forecasts for suppliers during product changes and follow up on remaining balances of packaging materials.
- Monitor logistics deviations on incoming deliveries weekly and ensure that suppliers take necessary actions according to industry standards.
- Plan and conduct various large-scale data analyses in Excel and BI and create corresponding presentation material in PPT. The expected result is an improved and automated KPI reporting model.
We are looking for someone who
- Has completed an academic education in a relevant field.
- Has work experience from a similar position, or another relevant role within supply chain, procurement, or logistics.

It is an advantage if you have:

- Previous work experience in the industry.
- A valid driver's license (Category B).
- Experience with supplier contacts – preferably international.
To succeed in the role, we see that: You are a driven and goal-oriented individual who is confident in yourself and does not hesitate to take initiative for improvements or solve problems independently. With your structured approach, you have no difficulty delivering quality according to deadlines, while being able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements. Collaboration skills with all relevant stakeholders and your excellent communication skills are key factors for your success.
