About the role

In the role of Service Technician, you primarily perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on DeLaval's various products, such as milking facilities and milking robots. You have your own customer base and work independently in DeLaval's sales tools, where you contact your customers to schedule meetings to, for example, perform service or simpler installations. Part of the job also involves sales, where you sell accessories, spare parts, and consumables by analyzing the customer's needs.

You work from home and operate in Southern Bohuslän and Western Västergötland and surrounding areas. On-call work in a larger geographical area, as well as travel and overnight stays, occur in the role, and if necessary, you may need to work in surrounding towns. Your days consist of visiting customers in meetings that you schedule yourself. We would appreciate it if you also take the initiative to visit your customers spontaneously to further strengthen customer relationships and perhaps even create relationships with new customers.

To succeed in the role and become a long-term part of DeLaval, you will receive comprehensive basic training at Hamra farm in Tumba, joint trips with experienced colleagues, and continuous further education.

Your profile

This is the job for you if you thrive in a flexible job where you have great freedom to organize and plan your own days. You have a large portion of drive and work in a goal-oriented and independent manner with all tasks. The role of Service Technician involves a large part of administrative work, for example regarding invoicing, but also in the sales tool where you plan and book your own customer visits, so it is important that you have good computer skills.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are practical with work experience as an electrician, mechanic, or from similar technical roles. You have a solid technical interest, which is shown, for example, in your great interest in vehicles, vehicle mechanics, and computers. Furthermore, you have high social competence, love the personal meeting where you sell yourself as the customer's personal service technician, and you value providing good service to the highest standard.

Requirements for the position

• High school education, preferably electrical/technical program or work experience in a relevant area for the position
• A great technical interest and that you are passionate about providing customers with good service
• Good computer skills
• Category B driver's license
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English

Meritorious for the position

• Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, and/or milk production
