In the role of Electrical Design Engineer, you hold overall system responsibility for customer projects within power transmission for hydrogen fuel cell applications as well as motor drive systems for uninterruptible power. You work closely with customers and internal functions, contributing throughout the entire project lifecycle – from early business dialogue to final delivery.

You design, construct, and customize advanced power supply systems and are active in the quotation, sales, production, and delivery phases. In development work, you are also involved in creating new system solutions and further developing our product platforms.

We are looking for you who have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics or a Higher Education Diploma in Engineering with relevant work experience

• Strong competence in power and electronics, along with a strong interest in technology

• Experience from similar roles in electrical design, system design, or development

• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills and experience with simulation tools and CAD (we work with EPLAN)

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

As a person, you are structured, detail-oriented, and accustomed to working in a project-oriented manner towards clear goals and deadlines. You collaborate easily, are sensitive to customer needs, and are driven by finding practical and technically robust solutions.

With your experience, you actively contribute improvement suggestions and have a natural commitment to supporting both customers and colleagues. You are clear, direct, and non-hierarchical in your communication and see mentoring as a natural part of your role.

KraftPowercon is in an intensive development phase, with an ongoing product launch of a new power converter for fuel cell applications. As the Electrical Design Engineer with system responsibility, you will have a central role with significant impact, both in development projects and customer orders.
