Senior Strategic IT Procurement Specialist – Public Sector

We are looking for a senior strategic IT procurement specialist for a role with a major public sector actor in an expansion phase. The position involves leading complex tenders related to IT and system solutions in an organization where business operations are critical for both maintenance and development.

This role is for you if you are accustomed to taking full ownership and driving tenders independently – not just providing support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Independently lead and execute strategic IT and system solution procurements.
• Develop and drive procurement strategies.
• Manage RFI processes and request for proposal (RFP) documentation.
• Design evaluation models and lead bid evaluations.
• Support and challenge clients in defining requirements.
• Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations (LUF).
• Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance during implementation.
• Contribute to the development of the procurement function's working methods.
• Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement.
• Documented experience with IT procurements.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement, particularly LUF.
• Proven ability to drive complex tenders independently.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in Swedish (both written and spoken).

Assignment Details

• Extension: Possibility of extension up to a total of three years
