Job Description For our client, we are looking for a Software Engineer - .NET.

The primary objective is to develop and support applications on the OpenVMS platform and VcomDecom activities.

A secondary objective may include supporting our delivery to the Powertrain engine plant.

Required Competence

To be successful in this role, we believe the candidate has:

Competence in system development

Experience with parallel processing solutions

Willingness to work in both front-end and back-end

Ability to interact directly with key users

Experience participating in requirement breakdown sessions

VMS Platform

.NET

MSMQ

SQDB

Fortran (seen as a merit)

Oracle RDB

The following areas are seen as additional assets:

Test automation, Test Driven Development (TDD)

Mobility

You have knowledge about the lifecycle of software development, including analysis, unit testing, and continuous integration. Experience from the automotive industry is also seen as an asset.
